Members IAA-CSIC

Prof. José J. López-Moreno is a Research Professor of CSIC at IAA. He has lead/is leading several successful planetary missions, including the HASI instrument for the Cassini/Huyghens mission to Titan, OSIRIS and GIADA of Rosetta. He is Co-I of PFS-MEx, PFS/VEx, and BELA-Bepi Colombo. He is currently the Co-PI of the NOMAD instrument for the ExoMars TGO mission.
Using his experience in modelling airglow, he will assess the inversion of temperature and density from the airglow measurements.

José  Luis Ortiz is a Research Scientist of CSIC at IAA. He is a member of the Solar System Department within the IAA-CSIC and he belongs to the permanent staff.

René Duffard is a Ramón y Cajal Researcher at IAA-CSIC. He is a member of the Solar System Department within the IAA-CSIC.

Alejandro Sánchez de Miguel, researcher of the CSIC-IAA, is one of the pioneers on low cost scientific balloons for meteor and light
pollution observation. His expertise is on light pollution research, meteors and outreach, although he has also interest on other fields like galaxy evolution, archaeoastronomy, small bodies of the solar system, stellar physics, planetology and PRO-AM collaboration.
He made his degree, master and Phd at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with an stage at the Institute for Space Sciences-Freie Universitat Berlin and the CEGEP de Sherbrooke (Canada).
He is also lider of the "Cities at Night" network for scientific exploration of the ISS archive. Alejandro has participated on more than 7 low cost balloons mission on collaboration with the amateur group Daedalus.
